"MILLER" Arts & Crafts Nouveau Chandelier $3750.00 Here is a rare and hard to find slag glass chandelier that dates from the 1920s-1930s. This fixture has outstanding detail throughout and was made by Miller (Edward Miller & Co) a Connecticut based lamp manufacturer. The chandelier is in excellent condition with no cracked or damaged panels and no missing or damaged filigree. The fixture is made from cast metal with a painted bronze colored polychrome finish that is in excellent condition. Note the heavy cast shade holders and matching ceiling canopy both of which have great detail. The slag glass is a light amber color with white swirls and a slight granite texture on the inside. The glass really fires up when lit. The center dome has takes three light bulbs making this chandelier six lights all together. The fixture is completely rewired with six new regular size bulb sockets. The total drop of the fixture is 26" which could be adjusted. The overall spread or diameter is 19" -20". We love the way the heavily detailed center bowl creates a lovely silhouette with its floral pattern. An outstanding chandelier that will add warmth and charm to any home.
