RARE "Uplight" Arts and Crafts Chandelier $4250.00 This is an outstanding Arts and Crafts chandelier that dates from around 1910. Its made from hammered brass and iron with an original finish that is in excellent condition. This is a very heavy fixture of high quality with lots of strong arts and crafts features including the heavy chain, heavy cast junction and lovely pierced ceiling canopy. The fixture takes four regular bulbs and inside of the bowl is painted to help reflect the light upward. This fixture was designed to cast indirect light for a room creating a lovely atmosphere....very much like the old theater lights of years gone by. The chandelier will hang about 35" down from the ceiling and is 20" in diameter.
