1920s Carnival Glass Chandelier

An unusual hand painted carnival glass chandelier that dates from the 1920s. The fixture frame is made from brass and is embellished with cast iron lion heads. The carnival glass shades are Czech and were produced for the American market back in the day. The painted shades have winter scenes that are somewhat primitive but charming none the less. If you look closely you can see they used a granulated paint to create an ice and snow effect. This fixture is a rare find and is in excellent original condition.
