Early Gas Table Lamp signed Cornelius & Baker

Here is a rare example of an early gas table lamp made by CORNELIUS & BAKER who were the premier lighting manufacturers of the mid to late 1800s. This old gas lamp dates from the late 1800s and has been converted to electricity. It has a great detail throughout including two bearded busts just below the handle of the lamp. A Japanned brass finish that is in excellent condition and it’s mounted to a slate base. The lamp comes with it’s original frosted glass ball shade.
